Empowering People
in Need through Community Action

The Nevada Community Action Association (NCA) connects people to resources and services to meet everyone’s needs, from food assistance and housing help to early education and family-related programs. Find your local Community Action Agency below.

Find Help

We’re on a shared mission to support individuals and eliminate poverty in Nevada communities. Find food assistance, housing, and family-related services in your area.

Connecting You to the Service You Need

Food Assistance

Learn how to get healthy food for you and your family. Find local food pantries, get food assistance, or apply for SNAP (food stamps) and WIC programs.

Housing Help

Explore resources for housing payments, emergency rental assistance, homebuyer programs, multi-family programs, and legal assistance.

Early Childhood

We make child health and development assessments, early education and care, and referral to community resources accessible to youth and families.

Who Is NCA?

Nevada Community Action Association is a coalition of 12 action agencies in Nevada funded by the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG). Together, they develop strategies to address poverty across the state and provide training opportunities. Our ultimate goals are to empower action agencies to eliminate poverty and support those suffering from it.
